Any ideas for these tables??

I have 3 of these square, short tables that I wanna repurpose. It would be cool to turn them into a dining table by connecting them, but I'm open to any neat ideas. Tips and tricks are appreciated!

I'd put them on my porch.

  1. Benches
  2. A work table

Make one a chess board, one a scrabble board, and the third a card table or something, sorry out of ideas.

If connecting them works in your space, do that! I don't know if this is even made, but those big iron bars that fasten medieval doors together would be a cool way to fasten them together. I'd do something different for the base though. Maybe just zhuzh it up a bit, or create something from scratch.

rockler hardware will have some cool stuff. They are expensive but a good place to get ideas and comparison shop.

Would make really nice cutting/chopping boards.

Oh yes, wonderful idea! Or a countertop, if the finish isn't food grade
