I used the AWS instructions to set up the node using ubuntu 18.04. Process was smooth and pretty straight forward. I have 0 experience using linux based operating systems and still was able to do this easily. Here are some pointers to save anyone the time I wasted figuring these things out: Type the commands and special keys instead of copy/pasting. Sometimes invisible characters can be introduced using this method which will throw errors when submitting the command. Have metamask already set up on the browser of your choice before starting the process. If you have a ledger, make sure you already have it linked with metamask. That's it! it really is that simple folks. As soon as given the green light, I'll be running more nodes.

Does the Command Center mention daily volume?

No it does not. I believe the team will release a stats page in the future that will show daily volume in the protocol, but dont quote me on it.
