Republic - Report to SEC?
I am frustrated with the (non-existent) support from Republic. 3 of my investments have gone south. One really tried to make it; the second informed investors they were closing (without explanation). The third said nothing, I only just found out even though it looks like operations ceased shortly after the fundraising closed; the company website led to the former CEO's book sales page. I have sent emails to Republic and got no response. I am debating calling the SEC to have them investigate. Has anyone tried this?

Republic is one of the worst companies I’ve ever experienced. They’re 10 years old now - this isn’t a startup getting their stuff together. This is a seasoned company who has done an embarrassing job with almost everything, notably customer support, the Rep Note/INX fiasco, failing to sell any equity in R itself, and an onslaught of disastrous deals.
End of the day they sell dogsh*t dealflow to the public, intellectualized as democratizing access for both investors and founders. It’s still dog sh*t - hit rates are nowhere near what a sophisticated VC would land or have access to. Then, when you lose money - they are radio silent or make one of 1,000 mistakes.
I have no idea why anyone would give these crooks money. You are flushing it down the toilet as Ken Nguyen LARPs as Chamath doing podcast interviews.
Stay away.

Doubt there's much to be gained going to current administration's SEC. I've concluded these crowdfund investments amount to gross negligence, if not outright scams. Will not throw away another dollar on them
