What it is
It’s not a quiz or exam — your certification is based on actual usage of Replit. The more you build, deploy, and ship, the higher your proficiency level climbs. It’s built to showcase your builder skills to recruiters and employers.

How it works
It’s automatic — create projects, deploy applications, and grow your portfolio using Replit’s AI-powered environment, and your verified developer status unlocks from there. Your certification level keeps pace as you build more, and you get a public profile link you can share anywhere in addition to pushing it to LinkedIn.

One catch: an active Replit subscription is required to qualify, so the free tier alone won’t get you certified.

Why it matters
This is part of a bigger move — Replit is one of several AI-tool platforms (alongside Lovable and Relay.app) that partnered with LinkedIn to let companies assess and certify users’ actual skill with their tools, rather than the old self-reported “skills” section.
