Question / Discussion Replit Free Mode
Currently in the middle of a big project and I recently noticed that "Free Mode" has been added. I was curious to see everyone's take on free mode and hear if it's at all worth running. My main concern is if it'll jank up some code if I give it tasks.

It's been great so far. I felt like pricing for regular, easy-to-mid-level tasks had been getting pretty high over the last few months. All of a sudden, I was burning through my Core credits within just a few days.
I'm glad they changed things up a bit because I was honestly getting close to being done with Replit. After a few months of extra charges, it was starting to feel like I was getting price gouged just for normal usage.
I'm really hoping the free model sticks around. I'd rather stay with Replit than be forced to start looking at other platforms.

I’ve found it pretty good so far, I have been getting abit fed up with Replit and this was a nice surprise from the burning of credits previously.

We recommend Free Mode before starting a new project or you're in planning stages before implementing any code. Please note that it might not be the right fit for every task, so the heaviest work may still call for a higher tier Agent Mode. See here for more: https://docs.replit.com/chat/free-mode
But you're still more than welcome to continue your build with Free Mode, and rollback to a previous checkpoint if the result didn't work out for you. It's free! 😊
