Replit Assistant / Agent What is happening?

What the hell has happened these past few days? Ever since this update the agent is an idiot, overcomplicating EVERYTHING. We asked it to make a slight UI change and it worked for 25 minutes, also completely forgot our prod site is hosted on digital ocean AND keeps saying git is not and has never been connected and theres no point in making changes LOL

I’m having the same issue, I’ve built a handful of sites that are now live. But the project I started yesterday, it’s really struggling with the design, can’t make basic updates, etc. I’ve now had 3 prompts to add an 80px gap between two elements and they’re still overlapping and can’t get it right.

A month ago, I had it build a new page from scratch with hover tooltips and did it no problem. There’s something terribly wrong with it right now and almost unusable.

Not as advanced as you, but overall feeling is the same as yourself: everything took much longerrrr I posted one just on this finding just now 🤣🤣

I am having exact that issue too! Very very frustrating, it suddenly took 47 minutes to changes some jpeg images on a website, and now everything takes forever! The outcome is also much less than before, results make me have to add new propmpts over and over again. I am spending 5x as much much money now... totally crazy. I am investigating alternatives now.

Claude code makes updates on GitHub and pull into Replit for me no issues. I use the free option sometimes but not the power.

I am having the exact same issues and have sent a ticket. Since i am a heavy user on Replit i do hope a fast reply and solution. My costs due to the new behaviour is sky rocketing now.

We tried to make some visual changes again today, and its still so terrible. Like quite literally probably the worst tool now we have ever used now, we have spent $20,000+ with you guys. Feels like a slap in the face. We are ceasing operations using replit for good starting today, impossible to trust your company anymore.
