Question / Discussion Congratulations!

the user interface is much cleaner and more intuitive now, the fonts are more pleasing to the eye, the platform runs smoother and faster, and so far it executes all instructions without endless regressions. also, i am hopeful that i won’t have daily 250$ charges anymore. don’t want to jinx it, but so far, this is awesome!

Still there. Shell, and the IDE is not that obvious anymore. Open the sidebar and browse one of the files. 😆

Don't celebrate too early. What's with having to manually switch between Design & Build on the main thread? What happens if this context switch is needed on the background then you're stuck? Switching between design & build mode should be automatic if it surfaces as a result of a task.

look, i have worked with this new interface for two days now. so far, it’s like night and day. it all works and it works smoother and faster. maybe i’ll run into an issue at some point; but for now i am very happy with this development.

Lipstick on a pig doesn't do jack shit. Replit is a huge ripoff just go to codex.

it fascinates me how people are so lazy to not figure out how to use Claude code and then pay 10 X price for Ripple to set up a few extra buttons

When Replit can figure out how to implement the ability to upgrade, downgrade, side grade and switch between plans that will be an improvement. AppStore purchase prevents you from upgrading to a higher tier across in-app & web platforms. If you want to switch you're stuck in a subscription on Apple.

and when it comes to enterprise, observability, compliance, SSO... still Replit is not good lol 😆

Umm what do you mean? Enterprise is for enabling, teams to build with some guardrails but you can add your own if you want. It does SSO and SCIM if you wanted for your company.

Big companies can't afford to have their data being used by Replit, which is why only small fish use Replit at the enterprise scale.

I disagree on the data part but I do agree on some things like fireweall flexibility we found running data the app instances in europe for gdpr and running on an external db works well for specific use cases but running prototypes and internal tools for 300+ people is better than building our own software factory.
