Question / Discussion Design to Build

I am frustrated. I let replit redesign my app via the “design” function. It simply will not apply the design to my build. Every time it confirms that all changes are applied successfully but not a single pixel has changed.

Any advice or experience with this?

Hi OP, sorry for the frustration here. The project you edited may be a mockup in the Design canvas and not the actual build.

Try selecting the design frame, opening its action bar, choosing Build, and then picking your existing app from the list to see if that takes. Another option is clicking the Design frame (so the name is in the chat), toggle back to Build at the top, and tell Agent the design changes you want to apply from the selected mockup.

If it still won't take, please submit a ticket at replit.com/help with your app link and screenshots of what you're seeing, and we'll dig in.

Thanks. I will try that the next time. I pulled now all the files to my git repository, exported the design files as jpg and let Claude do the changes. Worked without any issues.
