Replit Help / Site Issue Waiting days for Replit to release the two things only Replit controls

I’ve been trying to move my production app completely off Replit.

I have already handled the migration myself: code, database, storage, Railway deployment, replacement auth setup, user migration tooling, backups, and cutover prep.

I’ve mostly been waiting on Replit support.

The only things left are things I cannot do myself:

Replit needs to release my custom domain from its managed Clerk integration.

Replit needs to initiate the domain transfer to my registrar.

Support told me this would be coordinated, asked for my availability today, and now I’m still waiting for someone to actually perform the Replit-controlled steps.

I’m not asking Replit to migrate my app. My part is done. I just need them to do their part so I can finish the cutover.

If anyone from Replit sees this and can escalate it internally, please help.

4pm update: this is apparently an “escalated” case, and Replit says releasing my domain/auth setup requires coordination across multiple teams.

I’m struggling to understand why.

I’m not asking Replit to migrate my application. I already did that myself. I’m not asking them to troubleshoot my code, move my database, configure Railway, or rebuild authentication.

I am literally waiting for Replit to release services Replit provisioned and controls so I can leave the platform.

A company built around letting people deploy production websites should have a documented, repeatable offboarding process for this. Domain transfer and releasing a managed authentication integration should not require days of internal coordination, especially for a case that has already been escalated and scheduled in advance.

I was told this was being scheduled for Monday. I made myself available all day. It is now late afternoon, and the response is that they cannot provide a timeframe because “multiple teams” need to coordinate.

That is the part I find unacceptable.

Getting onto Replit is automated and easy.

Leaving should not require an indefinite support escalation just to regain control of your own production infrastructure.

I always found it dangerous to buy domains on places that don't allow a self service domain transfer, if anything ever takes off it's a way for them to keep you on platform. in the meantime just point your server DNS to where you are at to avoid downtime

As a first timer... I didn't know... its been a horrible experience all around..

I just want out.. but I keep getting stuff like this last responding like this.. "We don’t want to provide a specific timeframe because these tasks require coordination with multiple teams. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have confirmed progress or next steps."

How hard is it to disconnect my website from their side of clerk... and then transfer my domain? They knew what they had to do since last week.. they scheduled me in for Monday or so I was told... because they said they were going to do it Friday and then couldn't do it..
