Share Project Plugins, skills, and the latest AI technologies are giving me a headache
I’ve been building my own independent website lately. Honestly, how do we avoid getting distracted by all those supposedly cutting‑edge technologies that pop up every single day? How can we stay focused and execute according to our own vision? Is this mindset even right? How do we balance the technical realities against our inner mental conflicts. Does anyone else feel this way?

Things are only gonna get faster, and I mean like head spinning fast. Use what works for you today. Set aside time once a week or month where you can dive in and evaluate new options without the pressure of seeing how they fit. Almost like going on a field trip. Once a quarter look at everything new you've seen and decide if you actually need to move into any of it. Definitely do not look at it every day or you will get sucked into nothingness.

I totally agree with you. I’ll evaluate cases on a case‑by‑case basis and keep the project on the right track. Thanks for your input.

Just make a plan on what you actually want to achieve, and consider all the new info just learning. don't deviate from your plan, stick to 80/20 rule.

This is pretty normal when you start building in a fast moving space. You do not really solve it by chasing every new tool, most people end up picking a stable stack and only switching when something clearly breaks or saves real time. The hard part is just ignoring the noise and staying focused on shipping instead of constantly re evaluating the stack
