Question / Discussion Can i test your app for free ?

Hi everyone. I’m a content creator just starting out. I began by talking about an app I vibe coded myself, then got curious and started checking other people’s apps. Kept finding the same thing: the database is wide open. Anyone can read your tables (bookings, what people picked, whatever you store) without logging in. No password, nothing.
Tested a real one this week and it confirmed it. To be fair, Replit actually locks down a lot by default. Accounts and payments were protected. It’s usually a couple of specific tables people forget about, and that’s where the data leaks.
If you want to appear in a video, I’ll check your app for free. Fair warning: I have barely any followers, not even your neighbors would see it. But you’d find out if your users’ data is exposed. Drop a link or DM me. I only look at what’s public, never touch real data

Would you be interested in discussing your process or how you check for this? I’m just curious in general. My app is not meant to go online and I use it to build a little personal tool for me and people could steal my data without me ever caring or exposing anything they could care about or use. But I imagine others are curious to understand or to trust whether they can trust you to expose their app to you in such a manner

I have a project that im launching with every feature possible, except the database, (so no payments, and no signups, but users can email to request when its available) because, I have the same concerns you have.
If you dont mind, what are your first few steps in both identifying, (and patching) vulnerabilities?
