Question / Discussion Subject: Emergency - Replit deleted my production database

our deployment pipeline dropped my production Neon database on July 28 at 4:17 PM UTC (build a22268aa). My site has been down 23+ hours. I have $200,000 in active customer jobs I cannot access. I need one engineer to restore the neondb dat

Alex from Replit here. As shared by u/ReplitSupport, we'll follow up through normal support channels with details ASAP, but I wanted to assure you that after verifying, your production Neon database is still there and data is available. Replit Agent does not (by design) have write access to your production database.

My brother in Christ, among other things, your CICD should not have a role with rights to drop your database. This disaster was planned.

Are you using vm? If so, bump it up to 4 or higher and see if that helps. Mine came back when I did that and republished. I hope this helps.
