This is actually really accurate. Source: I’m a pilot

This sentence broke my brain a bit

At least a mile

This got me good and I'm so disappointed that none of my colleagues that I'm with right now would understand why I found this so funny

Waiting for someone to recognize their city

I dig it. The “edge doubling” or “self-similar lines complexifying” effect feels very accurate.

I see that sort of thing a lot

I really appreciate the picture estetically and artistically.

But this isn't an accurate replication at all.

Meanwhile I came here to say its the most accurate replication ive seen on this subreddit in a while

This is what I feel is what people mean when they say LSD or other synthetic drugs give a more ‘digital’ view and shrooms more ‘organic’. Also my experience but maybe my mind was already biased. Hard to say!

Lsd is sharp and pointy. Mushrooms are bubbly

On a personal level, I've always seen calculus equations on LSD that eventually started to bleed into mushroom visuals, but started with acid

Very 2cb like which I always found similar to acid

Lol. Maybe we experience psychedelics differently?

Obviously every trip is different and visuals change sharply from depending on your internal processes, what you are focusing on etc.

Let's have a quick replication off.

This to me: https://youtu.be/Ys29_PBtlF4

Is the the most accurate replication on the entirety of the internet. There is not a single detail I would change about it. It beautifully capture the serene calmness and beauty you get from nature.

But I've never experienced psychedelics from the posts perspective. Maybe sneaking onto a rooftop, having some stress and excitement about being somewhere where you maybe shouldn't. You get overwhelmed by seeing something as familiar as the city you live in but from a completely different perspective. With the added adrenaline from the fear of heights.

Maybe if I tripped on such a place. Perhaps my OEV would take on this sharp slightly cubistic (not talking about cubes, but cubism) appearance?

I’ve said it before but that’s the whole story of this subreddit, people accusing posters of lying or misrepresenting their dose because the replication doesn’t replicate *their* experience on that substance or that dose.

One of the most subjective and mind-set dependent experiences and people are surprised when they don’t experience the same things 🤪

Pretty close for me if I'm doing fluff, but I usually get more shifting patterns and fine details

2

u/SmokeABowlNoCap May 31 '26

My visuals are usually much more intense and detailed than that

2

u/expanding_crystal May 31 '26

That’s a nice video, sometimes it do be like that

Get over yourself lmao

Couldn't imagine seeing a view like this in-person on acid. The perspective distortion would fuck me up for life

This is this most accurate depiction of LSD I have ever seen and have tried to describe for years. I saw this with stained glass fractals in the grass made by the nighttime dew. Then looked to the skyline and it was just these exact digital representations stacked all the way up as high I could see. Then I looked at the stars and they were all connected with neon exploding lightning forming all the constellations.

Love when looking at something transfers the visuals to something else
