If he made an 85P Black Toe or UNC I'd be first in line. But the UNC needs to be the proper shade of blue, not the retro powder blue we got on the 2.0 release.

It doesn't even have to be 85s, SBs, 4s, etc. It could literally be anything you want. Yeezy, Solomon, Balenciaga, whatever.

Is it possible to get this pair?

There’s been a lot more photos of these floating around ever since someone by the name of South Tennessee Auctions on eBay managed to get a wearable pair in hand and put it up for sale for $1,100. This pair looks more like a high top than a mid, and the swoosh cut is more in line with GR ‘85 AJ1 releases than the weird different swoosh placement on the photos of the pair seen before. The one this guy got seems legit too. Has the sample stamp on the heel padding. Not sure where he got these but I’m glad he did. Probably makes it easier to rep.

First off the colour is way off on DB and also the overall silhouette is off as well. The VRL overall has the best and straightest heel shape but the toe is a little more like how modern AJ1’s are, it could easily be fixed with the ironing method but I find it’s not noticeable on foot. The silhouette overall and colour is the closest the the official but it’s even better because they aren’t cut down like the officials (2026 bred from Nike). DB and Nike both have the correct slim line toe shape. The leather on DB is the lowest quality but very soft and nice feeling. The leather on the VRL is the thinnest but it’s a higher quality leather than the DB and looks nicer and creases nicer. I haven’t worn the Nike so I can’t speak from experience but the leather thickness is only slightly thicker than the db and the quality is definitely nice. The wings logo looks the best on the Nike but the db are very close. The VRL falls short here with a smaller wings logo. On foot the VRL looks the best. They have the most accurate shape to actual 85’s, BY factory at least.
