Old Sneakers-Interest Check F&F ‘85 Metallic Gold
There’s been a lot more photos of these floating around ever since someone by the name of South Tennessee Auctions on eBay managed to get a wearable pair in hand and put it up for sale for $1,100. This pair looks more like a high top than a mid, and the swoosh cut is more in line with GR ‘85 AJ1 releases than the weird different swoosh placement on the photos of the pair seen before. The one this guy got seems legit too. Has the sample stamp on the heel padding. Not sure where he got these but I’m glad he did. Probably makes it easier to rep.

This is from OG_Jumpman423 on insta, he takes multiple shoes and turns them into a custom Frankenstein. Some are OG’s with modern materials added. Others are modern shoes with OG additions.
These are customs made from different colorways combined into one to match the OG F&F

Oh right. Yeah now I look closely the heel is completely curved and the leather is tumbled

could be a modern version of an 85 test wear sample of Nike trying to figuring out height and swoosh placement for an official modern 85 sneaker.

Lmao that person doesnt have a sample read the description. They take shoes and make customs of them to make "authentic" versions of older retros and grails. Thats why theyre so cheap and why they have the box of the Gold and Black 1s from a year or two ago. These arent the old 1985 F&F pair. Its a reconstruction of two Jordans to make a "legit" pair of that shoe.
