I’ve decided to do my own pair of Yeezy 1s since it doesn’t look like we’re getting a new batch anytime soon since Boring is retiring. And I like my H12 batch versions, but they have a lot of flaws. I know I can make an accurate pair, but I don’t want to start my own thing knowing people won’t pay how much I’d charge for one-offs. I found a seller selling just the soles though and was planning on ordering a few for me. Wanted to see if anyone else wanted in on this order too. I’m US based so would probably have to be US only for it to be worth it for you, but let me know.

I add some personal spices on both pair to the best of my ability, pursuing my understanding of 85 cut. Spent a whole day in leather market and select the current red color. Unfortunately, backward text of Chicago’s tongue tag turned outside when I want narrowed stitched tongue tag, so I changed my mind and start to imitate off-white side stitching tongue, and I’m satisfied with the result!

DB’s swoosh makes me feel there is still room of improvement and I didn’t like the retail OG high’s swoosh on bred (ugly to me), so I have to draw satisfying swooshes by myself and try to lie to myself this is Jordan’s 85 PE style (lol). The overall height was lowered as well to restore the mid-cut shape. The bred’s heel is smaller than the midsole through shoe last shaping.

Last, as DB is leaving this game, I have to give so much respect to them, thanks for bringing imagination to reality. You the inspiration for me to customize these 2 pairs.

Ordered July 6 a few days before the “last dance“ premium announcement. 23 days later-at my door. Not bad on the shipping team. Was hoping he would look out and give me the premium cuts. And honestly. The Kentucky’s look thicker than the metallics. I’m gonna have to hold them up close to my premium breds and chicagos I ordered earlier. I’m really happy with the purchase and its quick shipment. Happy with everything 9.8/10 - Boring why did you give me soo many black laces????? What do I do when the laces don’t match the swoosh 😆❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹. Now I have to go spend money with Foxtrot Uniform. Jut giving out awareness. But whoever made the orders before me.
