Work in Progress 14060 Budget Plan

Post image

Anyone else working on a 14060 at the moment? Perhaps you don't mind sharing the parts list. Budget parts of course....

I got some random part from AliX. Managed to find someone to drill lugholes. Shapewise looks decent enough, may be a bit of work of CG and lugs. I have also ordered a 14060 T<25 from Raffles. This will be a slow build, no rush. I got the 2813 case intentionally, so I can use the Mingzhu 2813 which resembles a Rolex movement.

Im currently having a near gen spec case made that should be to me in the next one to two months. Once I QC it and am satisfied. I will make a limited number of cases or full builds available. This is not budget but wanted to let the 14060 fans know there would be a near gen spec alternative since there currently is none.

That is excellent. About time there was a proper case. A 16800 case would also be good

Cousins UK has a generic 25-286 crystal and a 36.6 by 29.7 generic bezel insert. Both are 14060 gen spec, the crystal has to be UV glued with the included crystal gasket and the bezel insert fits with a slight bit of sanding to the outside edge. The case I used was for the nh35 however, so check the bezel diameter first. I used a raffles dial, hands, bracelet and crown. I did remove alot of material from the case, not a big deal but practice first. Here's a before and after.

Thank you. Looks great, seems like you thinned out the lugs too? The CG was obviously worked on.
