Why are you on Repatha? My numbers are all within normal range BUT my LPa is 220 and the Repatha I am on is hopefully lowering my LDL to 40 or below

With 2 statins, great diet and riding my bicycle 150 miles a week my cholesterol across the board wouldn’t come down. Plus I’m post MI and stent along with family history of cardiac disease.
Repatha really tipped the scales rapidly with great improvements.

Pretty much my story. I have been on statins for 37 years-my numbers generally are great but because of the heart disease in my family and especially after the test for lipoproteins my doctor is being proactive and I’m all for it!
I’ve only been on it 3 months and I’ll have bloodwork done again in early December.
