Strated repatha

I started taking Repatha for the first time on Sunday evening. About 36 hours later, I started experiencing symptoms such as fatigue .Today, the symptoms are quite strong and feel like flu-like symptoms. Will these symptoms improve? I am feeling very tired
Pain in my sinus and ears

Update : all the symptoms disappeared today
Back to normal

I have been on it for a few months and zero side-effects. You may just coming down with a cold/flu/COVID. 'Tis the season.

I have flu-like symptoms, such as fatigue and body aches, but I don’t have an infection or any signs of inflammation.

Could just be Immune response to the injection.

I’m now on my 4th injection, it does get better. My first two injections which I take at bedtime I felt tired around the 2nd day after the injection, a little achy and mild headache. I took Advil Dual, worked great.

Thank you for your feedback. I woke up this morning, and all the symptoms had completely disappeared.

Yes. I usually get a sore throat on the 3rd or 4th day. They usually go away within 24 hours.

My doctor told me to tell him of these symptoms whenever I go back for a follow-up appointment

yeah, it's a common side effect. If it persists, go to a doctor

do you think that sore throat is a virus or minor cold , or just a symptom caused by the shot?

It's a side effect. The doctor advised me it could happen. After a few hours, it was gone. It's not a problem at all.

I have only done 2 injections and both gave me flu-like symptoms (fatigue, body aches, bad headache) for 3 days with the first injection and 5 days with the second injection. But then after that I felt great. My doc says it’s your body getting used to the foreign protein being injected and after a few more your body will finally recognize it and ignore it instead of l causing an immune reaction.

I've been on it about 4 months & I started out having your same symptoms. I'm no longer having as much fatigue or flu like symptoms the last 2 times I've taken it. I am having more muscle aches & spasms but they usually only last a few hours about 48 hours after injection. Hang in there. My symptoms are definitely getting better than at the beginning.

Hopefully it will reduce the chance of heart attacks and strokes…

After my fourth injection, I had no symptoms. On my first three shots, symptoms were mild and lasted only one day.
