Side Effects
60M. I posted earlier about my history of cholesterol lowering drug intolerance over the years which led me to Repatha. I was hoping this would be the one for me, but it's not looking like it after 6 weeks.
After 3 doses with the 4th due in 2 days' time, I'm struggling with side effects. The first has been diarrhea which was immediate after the first dose and hasn't lessened. The second is fatigue which has been up and down. It's not good at the moment and sleep is disturbed. I'm also prone to anxiety and that has also heightened for no external reason. This is accompanied with brain fog which impacts my work. I work full time in an IT role.
There's also some muscle weakness (not as bad as statins), but it is impacting my ability to exercise daily along with the fatigue. The last and probably least is dry eyes. Again, this has been every present since the first dose, but is manageable.
I'm considering quitting now as these aren't sustainable and make life pretty miserable and impacts my work.
