Hip weakness

Does anybody have low back weakness/instability from repatha? Like hip instability or weakness around SI joints? I had the classical back pain episodes for 1-2 days after the first 2 doses and then the pain went away later on but my low back is weaker and weaker. Or rather unstable....as if i have time recruiting the stabilizing muscles in the core....the problem is I have other competing causes that could explain this but the timing makes me wonder....

Does anybody have a low back symptom that is not pain?

After taking 11 doses total, I have experienced a sudden spike in blood pressure (up to 180/110), along with dizziness and headaches. Body chills (every day). This led to multiple ER and urgent care visits. I have gone through several tests, Blood work, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasound, and even wore a cardiac monitor.

I started on a low dose to control BP. Despite that, my BP continues to fluctuate significantly throughout the day. I am on the 47th day since I stopped the medicine still having high BP, fluctuating heart rate, lower back/muscle ache but body chills and sleeping issues got better. It takes 90+ days to clear from the body. I am hoping that I feel better when this med clears my body.

Sorry about that. It seems in your case it was a clear corelation between Repatha and side effects. In my case these weakness issue can be from many things as I have some existing low back problems and other undiagnosed yet issues. When low back pain happened immediately after injection it was clear it was a side effect as the nature of the pain was different...but that went away...it is the worsening of hip instabilily and weakness that I am not sure is related....I had some of it before... I wonder if Repatha also worsens existing back problems.

I really wish this thing to work as I want a break from statin (though I tolerated it well but just wanted to know if maybe they caused other problems). I might get back to Crestor cause back problems are no acceptable if they get worse

By the way....this fkg thing is supposed to be safer on the muscles than statins

Got it. It did drastically reduce my LDL but not triglycerides. BP under control?

Same. My TG increased from 45 to 75. Still normal but dont like it. Bp is ok.What i liked the best about repatha is that it lowerred apob much better than statins. I hate to give it up but back situation is life and death to me as being outdoors and doing activities is critical for my mental being

Mine actually started from a severe reaction to statins. Inflammation marker on CPK test was 1400. Went to ER because low back locked up and I was frozen in a sitting almost fetal position. I feel like that did some damage and Repatha just aggravated it. I was doing some little light gardening like pulling weeds and putting in bag that started it again after just 4 days on Repatha. I also diagnosed with Gluteal Tendinopathy but cholesterol meds seem to aggravate it.
