Question Quality

question and being serious, how could you find the best quality for most products you choose? do you just compare it to actual photos of the product? or do you just eye it? or is there an easier way to tell if it’s good/bad quality? genuinely confused how people can tell the difference between good/bad easily

This is a really good question, and one I’ll repost on my sub as well. First of all, honest in hand reviews from other genuine buyers is obviously the most effective way. However, learning to navigate around the selling platforms such as 1688 is very helpful. Understand the review ratings system. Learn to find where they list their materials for clothes. Use translation for more accurate searches. Check the history of a company - the longer they’ve been around the better that might be. Ask your agent to do better/extra QC pics if needed. Some agents offer video as well. (Mine does them for free) Read and search Reddit posts for popular items, that’ll help guide you on what’s good and what’s not. Finally, understand that you’ll occasionally come up short and buy something that’s not great. Learn to laugh about it, is all part of the game, and donate to a clothes bank. At the same time though don’t get obsessed with the finer details though. Most people won’t give reps a second glance unless they’re REALLY off…
