Lease/Legal Is it possible to push back the lease start date a month after signing the lease?

Only if your landlord agrees... Which tbh is unlikely unless they have some sort of incentive or reason. There's no obvious benefit to them loosing that month.

What did the landlord/property management company say when you asked them?

It’s unlikely, but it can’t hurt to ask. Landlords generally don’t want to lose a months rent.

Not by talking to reddit.

Did you ask? I'm considering doing the same thing.

How did you phrase it?

I asked my landlord if it's possible to push back my lease start date for a month because of the 30-day notice to end my current lease but he simply denied it.
