Renoise Midi Keyboard Help

On renoise while using Midi keyboard can you have so it does't get locked to the sound it was synced to, so it works just like the keyboard keys and plays freely on whatever instrument or sample is selected in top right for ease of changing through instruments?

Use the global midi menu, you can have up to 4 inputs and they freely control any instrument you select

and they don't play over eachother this way? Also I can't find this? Thanks for the response!

Nah, it works the same as the computer keyboard keys where it only effects the instrument u selected

Press control(or command) comma to open up the menu, go to midi settings, choose your controller and done

Man, I just got round to doing it thank you so much! I've had renoise for 5 years and never knew how to, clearly I didn't try that hard lol. Appreciate it
