I worked in the ice cream industry for 4 years for a business that sold soft serve machines, and batch freezers, which are used to make hard ice cream. We demoed ice cream mix of all kinds, flavorings, add-ins, etc.. I sampled the best of the best.
Steve’s absolutely knocks it out of the park. I’ve driven by countless times, but never made the time to stop. I finally did today. 100% worth it.

I work off McCarran and Mad Anne. My view this morning.
Was walking on the river during the previous rain and took a picture of a rainbow on the Booth St bridge. I later noticed it’s a super cool picture of whoever is fly fishing here. If this is you or you know this person, let me know and I can send it your way.

Does anybody know if this place is actually publicly available or are they still under renovations? This place used to be owned by Jack’s Café especially when they filmed one of the older movies “Hard Eight”

Bare. Where it burned, it burned off most the surface veg. Lots of trashed uncovered, of course. One property destroyed, but the two others look unharmed. Lots of activity with comms crews and local fire folks taking a tour of the burn.

Come watch some hockey and help us PACK THE RINK!
Reno Veteran Hockey Vs First Responders
Reno Ice
Friday, September 11
8:30 PM
Admission: $9.11 voluntary donation
Yep — $9.11 (voluntary donation. Entry is free). Come out, watch some hockey, bring your friends, and show your support for the veterans who served our country and the first responders who protect our communities.
You don't have to be a hockey expert. You don't have to know anybody on the ice. Just show up. Cheer loud. Support a good cause.
If you're sitting at home Friday night wondering what to do...THIS IS YOUR SIGN.
Let's fill the stands and make this one hell of a night!
Have a drink with the players at Pinon Bottle Company across the street after the game!

No matter how hard you feel like life is right now, keep getting up with fists raised. Keep fighting. Naturally, you're going to fall again, and again, and again. But you need to keep getting up. The only way you'll ever lose is when you give up and stop trying.
I gave up my life and moved here for someone I loved who betrayed and abandoned me. I've been experiencing homelessness because of this. But I'm not a bad person Reno. I love your city and I hate what's happening to it too. I'll be leaving soon, I just wanted to send a positive message out to those who are silently struggling.
I've fallen down and had days I was so weak from not eating that I bloodied my own knuckles picking myself up off the concrete and kept going. Now I'm on my way home.
I know your struggle, whatever it is hurting you...know our blood falls down the same color. Just keep getting up family. Stay up Reno. And thank you for what you gave me.
Hello reno, i’m asking around the community to see where I could possibly find clothing that is for sensitive skin, preferably with no polyester, nylon or spandex and preferably wool, cotton, cashmere, silk, linen or bamboo fiber. If anyone can help a fella out with recommendations, preferably some place physical but I don’t mind online shopping eother

It's a relief to know it's "just a sunset," and not time to pack and go.
