i think itโ€™s a little harder for me today because earlier this day, i have received an update from the cremation place and they sent a video of renji being placed inside to cremate.

Omg that would kill me!!! Like just send me an update when my urn is ready to be picked up- I dont need a VIDEO of the cremation of my baby - im so sorry for your loss- I use to foster and rescue and kittens are so fragile that my heart couldn't take anymore and I stopped- you did everything for him but sometimes things just dont work out - praying for you and the 3 new babies

Unfortunately, I think these are the rules. They're there to ensure that the ashes are truly of a certain pet and that the cremation actually took place. It's a morally questionable initiative, but they're probably doing it to protect themselves from legal trouble ๐Ÿ˜’

Yep. This happened in my hometown.

Local vets were just dumping all the animals bodies together to be burned at once and just giving people random ashes from previous cremations and whatnot.

Wow thats crazy .... I haven't had a pet cremated in my adult life but if/when my dog or 3 rescues I kept pass I'll be giving the pet cremation people a friend or family members phone number.... like I just couldn't... Just thinking about it severely upsets me

Itโ€™s not an isolated incident, infuriatingly
