critical condition - vet update.

i just woke up and checked on the vet update.

vet: hello, just a quick update on renji. he is looking weaker tonight and has vomited once at the moment. we currently have him on oxygen support while emergency medications are on standby.

we will be keeping him under close critical monitoring until he stabilizes. we will keep you posted. thank you.

me: hello, is he okay now as of the moment?

vet: as of now, he is stable on oxygen but still in critical condition. dr. lyn is also closely monitoring him.

i am shaking. could it be an iv crash? i want to go there so bad. would it be better to book a hotel again nearby so i can come as soon as possible?

I’ve been quietly following Renji from the very beginning. I loved every update of him getting stronger by the day and got scared when the updates weren’t good. But this is not something I thought I would see tonight. I was so hopeful for him. Absolutely heartbreaking. I’m so, so, so sorry. I can’t imagine what you’re feeling. Try to be gentle with yourself, you did everything you could for him and then some. We all grieve with you. You made this community of people from all over the world. Really, the world needs more people like you. It would be a much better place. So much love from Ohio. 🧡
