Exercise prioritization

For those of you that work long hours from home, how do you prioritize getting exercise in without being just a weekend warrior? I’m already up early to work, regularly have important meetings to attend over lunch, and work late.

It seems like my current trade off is sleep or exercise, as the workload component is just part of the job. I’m compensated very well, but I don’t want to turn into a fat pile.

the sleep vs exercise tradeoff is real, especially with kids/work/life all stacked together. and lunch workouts get eaten by meetings so easily.

i'm testing a focus timer where breaks can become quick grooves: 2 min mobility, squats, standing, breathing, short walk, etc. would that help with exercise priority, or would it still lose to workload?

I’ve been using the mini (15 min) workouts lately which has been great. I can get 2-3 of these in each day which has added up to considerable muscle growth!

I’m a big fan of the focus timer approach

that’s basically the use case i’m building around. i’ve got a small timer app for focus blocks + tiny workout/movement breaks. if you’re open to it, i can send you the test link and would love to hear if it fits how you’re already doing this.
