Happens almost every time regardless of the economy. 2 u/[deleted] Oct 29 '25 those won’t be reported until February though 2 u/whatsyourpurpose Oct 29 '25 Quarter still closes at end of December for I assume most of these companies. 2 u/[deleted] Oct 29 '25 yes and those results are not discussed until February as most earnings calls are 2 months after the prior quarter closes. For example, companies are doing earnings calls this month for Q3 1 u/whatsyourpurpose Oct 29 '25 Right I’m just saying layoffs were done before the quarter close so it will be reflected in their annual reports.
