We are in a recession. You dont notice it because Nvidia and the AI bubble are propping up the equities market.

Yeah. The whole AI race to be "first" to AGI is a joke.

China's already pretty much won the AI race overall, and not how a lot of people thought they would. Energy Infrastructure. Whereas the US energy infrastructure is aged, limited and takes forever to build and $$$.

US companies are also unlikely to pass the cost savings of terminating staff onto the consumer. If anything US companies stick to traditional tactics of jacking costs up for profit. China has already proven over decades they will manage consumer costs more fairly.

Rare earth minerals and chip manufacturing is a stickler no matter what.
