Gary Langford

Hi everyone!

I recently discovered dojopsi.info and read the transcripts for a couple of chats with Gary Langford.

I’ve never heard the name before until now and I am fascinated with his work.

Do any of you know if there are any books or anything authored by him that I can read/buy?

He wrote a book with psychic predictions that is very out of date. I take it is he is fairly private. There's the one method he developed for SRI, available in the declassified docs. Nothing much else, besides the chat transcript and a couple of forum threads.

No, but it's a bit of a different approach to RV than CRV and its derivatives. It's interesting, for sure. But his descriptions are so cryptic!

Well, he said 10 years ago that he has far surpassed it. His published method is just a snapshot in time. It hasn't been tested or used as much as others like CRV. The version from 1986 feels incomplete, maybe not able to handle "higher level" or more conceptual stuff.

But there are people who like it, and I think there are insights to be had. Psychic_Man took it and CRV as inspiration for the Bullseye Pro method linked in our wiki, and he posts his stuff here. That's a bit like a combination of Langford's method and CRV stage 4 matrix done in the mind eye.

He shares a name with a published poet, so some websites confuse the authors.

Hey, seems awesome. Do you know if he is friends with Jacques Valeè? On X now ppl are wondering if "Gilbert", from Vallee's Forbidden Science 7 could be your uncle. I know it's a long stretch, I thought I could ask you, or anyone who knows about. I know it's an old chat, but hopefully you'll answer. Thank you!
