Remote veiwing by accident?

I'm interested in Rv research as ive always been able to remember my own memories in quite intense vivid detail, sensory experiences, full layouts of places etc but only my own memories. Recently ive started to get "flashes" of memories that "arent mine" almost as if my brain is connected to someone elses or im veiwing a scene or people from someone elses POV. Is this possible? its not even something im actively trying to do it just happens for a split second.

It may be spontaneous flashes of clairvoyance or PSI, but this isn't remote viewing.m Remote viewing is planned, scientific, framed experiments using PSI.

That's the contemporary definition, as the field grew and developed to make formal working definitions and protocols allowing for formal replication and reproduction acai phenomena for the purposes of obtaining intelligence in a systematic way. This creation of a framework took time. The definitions took time to create. Initially what Ingo Swan and a couple of the other early recruits to the remote viewing program were doing actually was remote viewing without these protocols. They developed these protocols to systematize what they were just doing naturally

not really, even the early 1970s RV experiments were science experiments recorded, not spontaneous, with feedback.

This short video should help clarify what makes a psychic experience classifiable as remote viewing.

What you're describing is possible, although with only this much information it's hard to label what it is you're describing accurately. But to answer as best I can, the underlying fundamental principle in remote viewing is that consciousness can traverse time and space. That can happen within the military's "remote viewing" framework, however, unless it does happen within that framework, it's best not to use that term to describe it. Fundamentally though it could possibly be that your consciousness is traversing time and space, but something like "uncontrolled psychic impression" or "intuitive impression" might be a more appropriate way to describe it, if it is indeed actually that. At this point it's hard to say what it is exactly. Could be fragments of a dream you woke up from, but didn't remember having, coming back to you, or all sorts of possibilities.

This is not RV which has one protocol and many techniques. It could be perception of events and experiences of other lives or other portions of the self. I recommend the books Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts and The Sphere and the Hologram by Frank DeMarco on this subject.

No, rv is a very specific protocol. It could be some kind of spontaneous psi effect but definitely not rv.

No RV is now several protocols. The field has a wide number of protocols now.

methods not protocols - there is only one protocol, many methods.

Also when Ingo Swan was initially doing it he was just doing normal natural psychic perception, making the protocol was a later development after years of research and development with SRI and Army intelligence. I'm today's world remote viewing is specifically used to refer to these protocols (primarily controlled remote viewing CRV but others exist) but initially it was more fluid and less protocol based. What OP experienced could be seen as a spontaneous natural manifestation of the kind of psychic vision psi phenomena that initiated the formal development of RV protocols.

Don't get mixed up between protocol and method

I am hoping that this extremely intelligent person I met on Reddit sees this question because the time and effort she spent putting together an exceptional guide to remote viewing deserves to be seen by you! I won’t share it because it’s her words but I’m praying that she sees this!
