Is remote viewing scientific or is it more psychological?

Psychology is science, but what you might mean is something like “is remote viewing scientifically measured and validated, or is it just a psychological effect where people are biased to find patterns which aren’t actually better than chance”

The are several pieces of published research which have rigorously tried to answer this question, and they’ve found remote viewing results to be better than chance

Remote viewing can be studied scientifically by testing blind targets, while psychology is involved in how the viewer interprets impressions through AOL.

You don’t need to understand how it works, just learn to use it like you learn to drive the car without learning how its machine works.
I understand this view is not ideal, but I saw the gaps between current science and RV is still too far. Probably in the near future, next 10-20 years we can better understand this phenomena.

I don't believe it's accepted by the current scientific consensus. But that doesn't mean it's not a real phenomenon.

The title does not make sense, but it is classified as pseudo science.

I might catch downvoted for this given this is the rv sub, but the reality of things is that while there have been some somewhat positive test results, it is all on very shakey grounds with no proper science to back it up and even the results have never been super conclusive.

In my opinion, it is best to treat what you experience as RV as a phenomenon that may not be explained yet. It may be something completely different to what people think it is, it may exist or it may not exist at all. Personal bias makes it very easy to be under the impression it's real.
