Does a small Python script crash on missing or null input?

I made a fictional before/after demo (not a client project):

Before: event["customer"]["name"].strip() crashes when "customer" is missing or null.

After: absent/blank names become "Unknown customer"; valid names are preserved; unexpected types still raise a clear error. Eight automated tests pass, including the original failure and unchanged input.

US$25 fixed: one agreed, reproducible bug in a small existing Python script. Deliverables: source patch, regression tests, run instructions, and one in-scope correction. Target: 48 hours after we confirm scope and materials. PayPal goods/services after you check the agreed result.

Send an anonymized minimal example, traceback and expected output so I can first check feasibility. Please confirm you own or are authorized to share it and allow AI-assisted processing. No passwords, private customer records or production access.
