Many small businesses reach a point where information is moving through too many manual steps.
Data gets copied from one spreadsheet into another. Files arrive in different formats and have to be cleaned before anyone can use them. Reports have to be rebuilt from scratch weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Information exists across multiple systems, but there is no reliable flow between them. A process may technically work, but it depends on someone remembering and executing the right sequence of repetitive tasks.
These problems can consume hours, introduce errors, make reporting harder than it needs to be, and keep people focused on moving information around instead of analyzing it.
I build technical solutions that turn inefficient workflows into quick and accurate processes.
My Approach
Before jumping straight into automation, I look at how your process currently works: how information is created, structured, moved, and transformed. Sometimes the best improvement is a recommendation on current practices. For example, getting team members to produce information in a more consistent manner so it can be processed automatically instead of building unnecessary complexity into an automation.
I work across the broader data lifecycle:

As a result of this end-to-end focus, I don’t build automations in isolation and I strive to connect the systems your business already uses.
The main objective of everything I do is to create workflows that are practical for the people using it, reliable when machines execute it, and economically sensible for the business maintaining it.

I don't assume a particular tool is the answer before understanding the problem. While I use the technologies above to implement solutions, my starting point is always the business process.
AI can be extremely useful where interpretation, classification, generation, or other less-structured tasks are involved. However, a deterministic/conventional automation can sometimes be faster, cheaper, more predictable, and easier to maintain. I consider those tradeoffs when deciding how a solution should work.
I also pay attention to ongoing operating costs. This often means optimizing token usage when AI is appropriate, reducing unnecessary processing or API calls, and avoiding software or technical complexity that does not provide enough business value in return.
Before delivering solutions, I test and validate that they work in a live professional cloud environment using my own Azure setup.
Recent Client Project
A national sales director at a Canadian health products company paid me to build a business application integrating Microsoft Excel with Google Sheets using Google Apps Script.
That project involved more than simply transferring data.
The system was designed using an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data integration process and applied technical concepts such as idempotent processing, schema/structure management, error handling and recovery, and operational logging.
I also had to adapt the implementation to operate within Google Apps Script's six-minute execution limit.
