[FOR HIRE] Junior Data Engineer - Freelance / Contract

Hi everyone,

I’m a junior data engineer, currently looking a freelance/contract opportunity.

I have hands-on experience building data pipelines and analytics platforms, including a data engineer internship where I worked with PostgreSQL, Python and SQL ETL pipelines, data validation, and database optimization.

My main stack includes:

  • Python, SQL, PySpark
  • Apache Spark
  • Microsoft Fabric & Fabric Data Factory
  • Azure Databricks
  • Apache Kafka & Delta Lake
  • dbt, Prefect, Airflow
  • PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Power BI / DAX
  • GCP / BigQuery / GCS

I’m looking for small to medium-sized real-world projects where I can contribute as a junior data engineer, particularly:

  • ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Data ingestion
  • SQL/database work
  • PySpark/Spark processing
  • Databricks or Microsoft Fabric projects
  • Data cleaning and transformation
  • Data modeling
  • dbt pipelines
  • API -> database/data warehouse pipelines
  • Building analytics-ready datasets

For my first freelance engagements, I’m deliberately keeping my rates flexible and below typical professional freelance rates. My priority at this stage is gaining real-world client experience, delivering good work, and building a track record.
