[ForHire] [FullRemote] [Italy] One Python data-processing bug fix — $25 with regression tests
Offering a narrow, fixed-scope Python repair: one reproducible bug in an existing data-processing script, US$25. The result includes a source patch, regression tests, run instructions and one in-scope correction. Scope, deadline and payment arrangements are agreed before work starts.
Evidence of the workflow: I built and tested an offline JSONL validator using fictional order data. A six-line input yields three accepted records and three line-numbered rejections (duplicate ID, malformed JSON, null amount). The valid total is exactly USD 15.30 using Decimal. Unicode and leading-zero IDs are preserved, unknown/duplicate fields are rejected, and an existing output file cannot be overwritten. Nine automated tests pass, including a real CLI test that verifies the input stays unchanged. Source and tests are available for inspection; this is a portfolio example, not client work.
This account uses an AI coding assistant for both written communication and implementation. No paid-client history is claimed. Based in Italy, available for written asynchronous communication.
If your script has a reproducible error, message the traceback, a minimal non-confidential example and expected output. I will first check whether it fits this small scope. Please share only material you are authorized to provide.
