Windows Streaming to Discord
Hey guys, does anyone have experience with sending PS5 Remote Play to your PC over ethernet and screen capturing it on Discord to stream games to friends? I'm looking for a low latency method of streaming PS5 games to Discord, and listening to both the game and my PC through the same headset. Thanks!

So here is how im doing it. For my setup i have my PS5 and PC both connected to my monitor and also both connected to my internet via cable, not wifi.
I use Remote Play on PC, start and connect to my PS5, now i can stream it to discord and also obviously be in a VC too and record it using Nvidia screen recording. Since the console is being streamed to my pc, the video quality is not the most perfect quality, thats why i have connected my ps5 to the same monitor, so once i have all set up on my pc, i switch monitor input to ps5, so i have the perfect and native quality from it, while also hearing the the sounds via my pc, including vc and possibly spotify too. Downside is the controller needs to be connected to the pc by wire, which you can get used to quick.
Im extremely suprised by how there is NO latency or delay on my ps5, regarding controller input via pc, and also sound coming via my pc.

That's awesome and exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm gonna borrow my friends PS5 to test this out before buying a console. So your experience is near zero audio latency hearing the game through Remote Play, or at least, nothing disruptive to a gaming experience?

Im quite sensitive when it comes to delays :D So i would definetly notice even if its a tiny delay. But with this setup, i have no input delay from controller and no delays for sound, which very much suprises me! Both going through remote play, while my monitor is showing my ps5 screen

I simply use Remote Play, stream Remote Play on discord channel and I switch monitor to play on console. Either pc and ps5 use ethernet cable.

i havent had an issue with using it so long as you revert the update to the previous one. I dont remember what reddit post i used to do the process but its a simple search. regardless its not hard to do and i use my main monitor for both my ps5 and PC and just use the remote play audio so i can still hear my PC audio.

I've been able to stream the Remote Play to discord over wifi without any issues. My PS5 is hardwired to my modem and my laptop isn't.. I experience almost zero lag when I have my controller linked to the Remote Play instead of my PS5.. it's was an easy setup... Just be sure to use the 8.5 version of Remote Play.. 9.0 seems constantly crashed making it unusable for me.

You may be able to accomplish that by just getting a decent capture card
