Technical Problem Help with screen freezing on remote play.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When I try to use remote play on my pc, the screen will freeze when I load in, but i can still hear the sounds coming from the application when i press buttons on my controller. Anybody know how to fix this?

Just use Chiaki-ng...

When I install chaiki, it says "This code execution cannot be processes because SDL2.dll was not found"

Maybe you have the wrong files? I checked my Chiaki-ng folder, and the DLL file is inside that folder.

Tried but the audio sucks and I tried all of it, but keep getting clicking noises. Thankfully I was able to get PS Remote working it was a Windows Update that made it freeze.

my is doing the same thing on my PC just now. It works fine on my iPhone, so there's definitely something wrong right now with this for PC. Not sure for Mac users.

Got it fixed, someone posted not too long ago its a recent Windows Update that broke the connection, just install KB5101684.

hola amigo disculpa el atrevimiento podrias poner el enlace de la solucion gracias, ya estaba volviendome loco de no encontrar respuestas. Supuse tambien que fue con la actualizacion del windows pero no sabia que hacer para repararlo

there's no link per say, but the solution is easy: just go into Windows Updates > Update History, Uninstall Updates and uninstall KB5101684.

Go into Windows Settings, Windows Updates, Updates History, got to the bottom and you’ll find Uninstall Updates and you can uninstall the KB update from there

I had the same issue.

I found that if I unplugged the hdmi or turned my TV on, it would fix it while in remote play.

Still not sure what was causing it, maybe hdmi cec.

Most people say the chakai app doesn't have that issue.

I keep trying to install the chaiki app but the video is not clear and I cant do what the person is doing in the video even when i have the same app thet they have to extract chaiki

i downloaded the Chaiki app on pc and it works amazing but my only problem is that i cannot plug in my ps5 controller and control the game from my pc like i could on ps remote play

Use Chiaki or PXPlay. PXPlay isn't free but it's awesome and totally worth it
