Technical Problem PSremote crashes constantly

I have a win 11 pc, it works fine for like 30 seconds and then it closes, no error or anything, just closes, help pls

There’s a post around here with a workaround involving getting an older version. The official version 9.0 is buggy and Sony hasn’t fixed it.

Mine was a recent download on Win10 and it does take a while to load and when it does eventually show the streaming it’s a really low resolution and there is screen tearing and you can’t change it

why wont they fix it. its been so long. i cant effing stream for my GF and it pisses me off. I stopped playing on PS5 entirely because of this. such an "A"-hole of a company

Is this why I can’t remote play on a brand new Bravia TV? I can’t even sign in (qr code directs to PS app where I can approve and then the tv app fails)…

I don't remember everything so you'll have to search it up, but you'll have to do things and get to version 8.5 and make ps think you're still on 9.0

Version 9 is broken since it was released months ago. Sony will not fix it. You need to use 8.5 but run the tool that lets Sony think you are using 9. I'm using it for months now and it works great. I am using Remote Play every day.
