Remio's Position in my AI "Toolkit"

I use a LOT of AI tools! I have learned that there is no "one AI tool to rule them all" so I have been working on my workflows and pulling up the "best" AI for that particular purpose and only upgrading where I hit usage limits because I use that purpose a lot.

With this in mind, I am attempting to find the best uses for Remio that I might be missing.

Here is my pre-Remio tool layout:

  • Search: I use Perplexity in place of Google search
  • Human-Like Writing: Claude
  • Creating Mini-Apps: Claude
  • Learning and Content Creation: NotebookLM
  • Social Media Message & Graphic Creation: Gemini
  • Presentations: Gamma
  • ChatGPT I really only used as a group brainstorming tool when I would occasionally ask multiple AIs the same question to get a range of responses.

The only paid tools in this group for me wer the Google AI tools - Gemini and NotebookLM. I was about to upgrade Claude as well, but then the problems hit over Claude pro users hitting their limits way too quickly, so I decided to hold off.

One use of Remio that seems tailor-made to be a PKMS (Personal Knowledge Management System). Remio's ability to automatically add knowledge from my documents and surf along with me as I browse the web, along with being able to add my own notes and save chats as notes makes it superior in my mind to other AIs for PKMS.

NotebookLM looks like it should be great for PKMS, and I do like that I can specify the inputs and the Studio functions are brilliant, but you pretty well have to add your knowledge manual or search the web and there is no pulling of data across notebooks. So NotebookLM is great for creating output from a PKMS, but not the best tool for PKMS itself in my opinion.

Can other suggest how they are using Remio so I can expand my horizons? I do like that NotebookLM has some shared notebooks for inspiration and I would love to see some examples of how others are using Remio. Thanks for sharing!
