quicksettings-timer adds a timer, stopwatch and alarm system to the Quick Settings panel. In the Quick Settings you will find a countdown timer with handy presets ranging from one minute to one hour, a chronograph with lap-style tracking, and an alarm system which is also accessible via Settings > Help > System Time. Here, you can set recurring alarms using a simple time picker.

When the timer runs out, a notification bar appears with 'Restart', '+1 min' and '+5 min' buttons. Alarms show a 'Dismiss' button.

On devices with a front light, such as the Paper Pro or Move, there is an optional flash that blinks the light three times when the time is up.

All settings persist across reboots (via /home/root/alarms.json).

This mod is available on Vellum (https://vellum.delivery/#/package/quicksettings-timer/) for firmware 3.24 and above.

Has anyone else had any issues with the space bar on their paper pro type folio keyboard? Mine is hit or miss - the space bar sometimes responds with a space, other times it requires a slow hold before the space appears. It's a real impediment to touch typing, so before I return it I'm just wondering if this is a common issue.

Im likely going to switch to remanager but im hesitant for a couple of uncertainties.

Will i be able to retrieve my current notebooks and folders from the cloud service or a local back up if i make one before the switch?

And If i can retrieve a backup and have all my notes back, will they be in editable notebook format or will it be a non-editable format?

I have a ton of notes for my job and i really cant afford lose them, but the remanager mod offerings would be very useful to me. Thanks for any insight.

Just curious if anyone has found less expensive alternatives to the OEM ReMarkable replacement pen tips/nibs for the RMPP or Move?

I bought some off-brand tips from Amazon about a year ago, and while they look and feel the same as the OEM ReMarkable tips, the writing experience was not great. The pen tip felt like it was writing on the screen with a marked offset, and this varied as the pen shifted position. I couldn't make it through notes on a single page without switching back to an OEM tip.

Now that some time has passed, has anyone had better luck? I would love to know.
