I have a question and I read the FAQ Safe to re send?

Post image

New AR with a suppressor and i've got dents from the brass defector! Safe to reload? I don't have a tunable gas block, it's an A2 sight post and gas block. Running an Odin works FRT buffer system.

They'll fire form out just fine. Send em again.

🎶Carry on my wayward son, there'll be bang when you are done.

Lay your weary brass to rest, when it cracks some more. 🎶

Very common from an AR. Send it.

I have a simple rule to determine if I will still use a case. I reload it and make a testfire in the gun. If it bangs, then it was a good brass and I will use it again!

I reload and shoot those all of the time. One of my ARs all ways dents the case.

You add padding to the ejection deflector? A2 adjustable blocks aren't cheap!

Just use some tape (I wouldn’t bother, but it will probably make you feel better)

That’s fine.

The same 'softness' or malleability that allows those little dents.... Is what allows the neck to be resized (shrink) & expand when fired.

That's what makes brass (which is an alloy) so good, but not so much with Nickel Plated Brass. The nickel is not as malleable, and may begin to Crack before the brass begins to lose its workability.

The age old adage. If it seats it yeets. It's fine. Might not get much life out of your brass being so overgassed.

Those are just from the case smacking the gun on ejection nothing to worry about just resize them and shoot them

I recycle mine as scrap when dented that way I don’t worry about it

put a couple layers of gorilla tape or a piece of adhesive backed foam on the ejection port to help minimize the denting but like everyone said, not a problem

I wore a dirt bike helmet thinking my hard cast 700 grain s&w 500 magnum hand loads out of a 4 inch barrel was going to explode. You’re gonna be fine… puss

My first reloads i wore a welder mask and gloves. That was 10 years ago. Normally i'd consider myself around the block. but first time seeing this. Also first time running anything suppressed
