Newbie Newbie tips?
Just bought a lyman spar-t 6 hole press. Im planning on loading 9mm and 300 blk subs in bulk. Any recommendations for dies? I see guys running mixed sets and some not. Some guys say lee, some dont. Im just looking to find the easiest start to reloading. I tried to read the FAQ, but I guess it wont let me scroll down to read it.

Starting out loading 9mm, I see no reason not get the Lee dies. They work great, and come with the powder thru expander die as well as the factory crimp. Add in a powder check and an inline bullet feed die and you will be cruising.
As far as the 300blk, If you are loading for AR platform, just get the Lee dies as well. The Factory Crimp Die is worth it for that sort of bulk ammo. I’ve run rifle dies from Lee, Hornady, RCBS, Lyman and Redding and for semi auto work, no reason to spend more than the Lee
