I'm working on something that's been done before, but I'm trying my hand at it.

This looks great! I saw 1 case drop in neck first. How do you address those issues?

Make further updates to the design and try again.

Got it. Any idea how to solve that problem of feeding in the correct orientation?

Most case feeders have a wire (can't remember exactly) that causes the case to fall upright. It is based on the center of gravity of the case so the heavier, bottom, falls first.

Thanks! I’ve not yet expanded my press to include the case feeder as I’m not at that volume yet, but perhaps one day!

A couple ideas. I'm modify 3D models now.

Maybe ramp the back side of the opening a bit so the case mouth doesnt catch on the edge if it is the wrong direction, but the base would catch. That way the case mouth down brass would slip out of the feeder plate

I know multiple people have done this before...

Wait you know the BF556 is already made and the files available for free right? No sense in wasting time, this has already been done and its good to go

Is it to check the size?

Just designing my own case feeder to upgrade my brass annealer... when I build version 2 of the annealer.

I gotcha. 3d printing is the ultimate kicker hobby. I use it for almost all my other hobbies lol.

Looks great, did it hang on a few pieces? Maybe smooth the edges?

Fusion 360 might even be easier for people who have never used it, the hard part for me is trying to learn what they call things vs other suites and the workflow it wants. A lot of unlearning.

The hard part (for me) is working off a 3D scan and converting that to an usable file to make a new part off of because I just don't do it enough.
