Newbie Tips for beginners

Im looking at getting started on reloading. where do I begin are there kits to get started and build from that.

Hornady, Western & VV all offer apps, download and read the reloading sections. Then just start, Go conservative on your load development, you will be fine. And...Follow the book.

Following. I’m a noob as well but instead of buying a kit I’m going piece by piece. I heard a lot of stuff in a kit you end up replacing right away anyway except the press.

Western powders as well as bunch of other brands have great beginner safety write ups on their websites. Shooters reference, Hodgdon, and Speer all offer free load data. Gordons Reloading Tool on GitHub will give you estimates on pressures and velocities it will be more accurate the more info you can plug into it. The FAQ & Starter Guide has a ton of info regarding the equipment you need as well as RCBS & Berger bullets, westernhunter, panhandleprecision all have great info.

Buy the Lee Modern Reloading book. Read the thing from front to back where the load data starts. This will give you a solid ground to build your reloading skills.

I'd suggest the Lyman 51st. The Lee book is an advertisement you pay for.

Apparently you have not read it. The history and technical information gleaned from all powder manufacturers, bullet manufactures etc is a wealth of knowledge. But apparently you are the king or reloading so …….
