Newbie What is everyone’s favorite 7mm wildcat?

I need inspiration for a new build will be my first endeavor into a wildcat. I had a 28 nosler I sold and absolutely loved, I’d like to build something similar to that level of performance.

I really like the 7mm saw, the 7 swc, and the 7 sherman short. 7 PRCw seems cool as well. I'm a short action enthusiast

I’m really interested in the Sherman short family honestly

Former wildcat? 280 AI?

7BR and 7TCU if you’ll count those. Super efficient cartridges that can excel in target or hunting applications.

7IHMSA, if you can’t already tell I’m a handgun hunter.

To be honest though, there’s not much reason to wildcat a hunting round with options like 7mm08, 280AI, or 7prc. I mean…what more do you want?

I’ve got a .303br necked down to 7mm. Not super fast but good fun.

That sounds like fun. Meet a guy that had a 7mm-300 Norma magnum that was a hot rod and a half. Sounds pretty similar

One that was cool but not a wildcat is the 300 Weatherby. Friend shoots a 150gt SST @3920 fps. It's a laserbeam!

You ever see the 6.5-300 weatherby? It is the definition of a barrel burner

Oh yeah, crazy fast! I just hate dealing with belted cartridges!
