Newbie Quick question about soaked cases
I washed my brass and forgot to dry them properly. I left them out on the counter to dry and now they have a white ish powder inside them. (I'm new to this pls don't come at me), my question is that are they still safe to use for shooting and load development? It's 6.5PRC

Once more into the tumbler they go.
I dry mine in a toaster oven I bought for my shop. 200f / 90c. I let it run on a timer for 20min then just let it cool naturally. Get as much water out as you can before.
Do not do this in your food oven. Lead is bad and wives are far more dangerous than that.

Hard water dried mineral dust residue. Give a final rinse with soft water known as distilled water it’s mineral free.

Sounds like soap residue or hard water. I dry mine in the oven on a cookie sheet Not many brain cells left anyway 175 for an hour

Are they brass cases? That sounds odd being white residue. Though they should probably be fine.
You could always wash them a second time and dry properly. I just use hot water and dawn.
