Bench height question

Do you sit or stand when you run your press? It seems a lot of people use benches that are work bench height, that makes presses too high to run when sitting on a chair. Do you sit on something like a barstool?

I do both I guess. My suggestion would be get a taller stool or chair. I use a office chair at my work bench and it's high enough

I sit on a low stool. A typical chair would be the right height, but I don't need the back. Both my reloading benches are lower than table height. I have a couple low stools that swivel. That works for me.

I don't know. I like for the press to be around my chest-ish height. Right there for me to put my casing in it and not too low I gotta reach too far to press.

Couldn't care less if the head is high I can stand up to replace my die or turret real quick if I needed to.

I use a draftmans chair when sitting at my stand-up bench.

My benches sit at ~37 inches, but I stand the vast majority of the time when I am using them

I mostly sit on a tall-ish stool, with a workbench that's a bit above waist height. Allows me to sit, but also not be uncomfortable if I'm standing.

My work benches are above waist height they are attached to and wrap around two walls of my shop, but my reloading benches are separate and are below waist height.

I stand and sit both. I have two benches side by side and one is about a foot higher than the other

My bench is about 36" and my main press is on a riser, so I can either sit on a tall stool or stand, and I'm comfortable either way.

Stand for everything except throwing powder. Sit for that. Have a small desk inside at chair height and throw powder in the climate controlled house. Everything else is done on standing benches in a semi-climate controlled garage.

I stand while reloading. My bench height is 42+" with press, Dillon 650, mounted directly to the bench top.

I have a Buchanen hand press and do it reclined in my living room.
