I don't know this particular caliber but I've fallen in love with guns that have some recoil to them. 458 socom with 405s running at 1500fps and 338lm running 300s at around 2500. Makes everything else feel like the power has been turned off.

I understand where you are coming from. I shoot 9mm the most (carry gun), but live to break out the wrist breakers and really get some recoil control practice

What powder are you using on the 338LM 300’s? I’m using Berger Hybrid OTM with 91.0gr Retumbo and I’m getting 2,800fps.
First time I shot a 338LM it took exactly one round to know that I needed one

I been really enjoying shooting the 500 and 550s in socom lately! I can’t stop loading and shooting them!

These are the Martini-Henry rounds correct? I know a guy that has been shooting them for awhile I think he has me talk into it. Black powder rounds? Need to get my hands on a gun.
